Pferd-Rhein-Ruhr is a very active fair - as much action at the booth as possible, from painting to tooling.
As many horses as possible will be shown in paddocks instead of a closed stall. This shows horses in a somewhat natural situation: together with their stable mates, stay active, move around and they can be seen. Ofcourse the paddock will be large enough so the horses may walk away from touching fingers. Please do respect this. These paddocks can be built by exhibitors that take the chance to present their fences / sand / rubber mats in use by horses.
Arena Grande will present a show program all day, put together by very competent horse people with years of experience. It varies from Shetland Pony to Draught Horse, from horses at liberty to High Class Dressage, from Western Riding to Donkeys. Every day there is one competition, from Dressage to Driving.
At different locations at the fair ground we have experts giving seminars. Just let me name Dr. Ende, well-known veterinarian, or Dr. Maleh, enthusiastic horse dentist, Adriane Georgi, hoof therapist, or ... The subjects range from horsemanship to saddle trees, from feeding to shoeing, from coach driving to massage.
Arena L&L will be used by trainers to present their methods live and to give hands-on coaching and physio therapists will show the possibilties of their thechniques.
